Karla Torres joined Equality Now in September 2016. She is an attorney who previously worked as a Human Rights Fellow in the U.S. Policy and Advocacy Program at the Center for Reproductive Rights (the Center). While at the Center, she worked on human rights projects, including the Nuestro Texas campaign, to advance women’s reproductive rights and access to healthcare. She also served as Assistant Director of the Reproductive Rights Initiative at the Human Rights Law Network in New Delhi, India.
